Want the 'scoop' on BIG DADDY COOL. Well you have come to the right place.

The 'news' that appears on this page will be factual and verifiable. No vague reports like 'BDC pups breaking in brilliantly everywhere' or such like. We would rather wait until they win official races and Qualifiers against a field of other dogs.

At the end of the day it is performances on the racetrack that really matter.

The juggernaut which is the progeny of BIG DADDY COOL continues.

Just weeks after BIGTIME MAX gave BIG DADDY COOL his first Group 1 winner, PETES CONQUEST ( the youngest greyhound in the field ) has won the prestigious 2007 Group 1 Australian Cup at The Meadows.

Taking on a hot field of greyhounds, PETES CONQUEST began quickly from Box 8 to cross the field and took the lead coming off the back straight. He crossed the finishing line 4 lengths clear of the second greyhound in a very slick 29.77.

PETES CONQUEST has had just 13 starts for eight wins and three placings with stake earnings of more than $140,000.

We would like to congratulate the connections of PETES CONQUEST and wish them more Group 1 success in the future.

We would also like to acknowledge another BIG DADDY COOL youngster, BIG TIME MAX for making the Final and being a solid favourite to win. Unfortunately the 'Gods' did not smile on Max this time but plenty more wins should be in store for him. Word is that he will be set for the Group 1 Perth Cup and he will surely do his 'dad' proud.

Another great few days for BIG DADDY COOL pups.

PETES CONQUEST made his presence felt at the Meadows with a stunning 5.09 1st split then clocking 17.72 to the back and won in 29.87 BOD by a crushing 11.25 len.

MERL'S DADDY also won at the Meadows and ran 5.15, 17.80 and 30.09 for a 10.25 len victory.

UNCLE JOEL, after his near track record debut made his Gosford 515 debut and ran a sizzling 4.59 17.11 and a slashing 30.19 BON performance.

Given the host of good BIG DADDY COOL pups making it to the track it really was only a matter of time until one was victorious in a Group 1.

BIGTIME MAX gave his sire his first Group 1 pup winning the 2007 Group 1 Adelaide Cup. This years Adelaide Cup was touted as having the best ever field assembled with some of the best greyhounds in Australia. Coming from the tricky box 6 BIGTIME MAX 'possied' 2nd on the first turn and railed under the leader on the home turn to career away in the very quick time of 29.30.

A couple of other efforts to catch the eye were OVER THE EDGE winning his Gosford maiden in 30.13 by 7.75 len and UNCLE JOEL winning at his Gosford debut by a stunning 14.75 len in 22.97 ( the fastest run seen at Gosford in the last 12 months - Record 22.89 ).

KALDEN KOOL's litter sister ABBADALE AFFAIR showed that BIG DADDY COOL as we see above does not only throw Brilliant early pace and sensational middle splits like GRINGO's 13.98 at Geelong ...BIG DADDY COOL lets one of his daughters do the talking for him as ABBADALE AFFAIR wins at her first ever try over the Cannington 642m distance and runs a fast 37.55.
